July 14, 2017| Today marked the end of our High School Summer internship with Kaiser Permanente. These students have successfully completed working 180 hours this Summer and will receive their $1,000 scholarship. The students presented their career&community project and internship experience at Kennedy High School’s library in the morning and celebrated their closing with the Anaheim Innovative Mentoring Experience (AIME) program in the auditorium shortly after. Students were each given a health issue related to Orange County and created a brochure to inform the public about the issue and what can be done about it. Students also created a poster board presentation that highlighted their internship experience. They did such a wonderful job and we are so proud of their productive Summer. Time to rest before starting their senior year of high school!
