April 24, 2017 | In an event hosted by the Anaheim Innovative Mentoring Experience (AIME) and in partnership with Kaiser Permanente, high school juniors from Western High School’s Allied Health Academy were given an introductory orientation for the AIME events that will take place during the 2017-18 school year. The program will expose students to various departments within the health care field.
During the introductory event, students were able to interact with Kaiser Permanente professionals to gain a better understanding of the journey to becoming a professional and the skills required for future success in the students’ careers. Thank you to Kaiser Permanente and AUHSD’s AIME Program for hosting the Allied Health Academy students!
The Chicanos/Latinos for Community Medicine (CCM) and the Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA) at the University of California Irvine are hosting their first annual college prep conference titled “Empowering the Next Generation of Innovative Minds”.
