The North Orange County Allied and other Health Careers Opportunity Program (HCOP), also known as Allied Health Academy, is a partnership between OCAPICA, Anaheim Union High School District, Cypress College, and California State University, Fullerton. Allied Health Academy aims to support and guide Latinos, Pacific Islanders, Southeast Asians, and other underserved students toward an allied health career.
Designed as a pipeline model, the goal of the program is to increase retention and graduation rates of these students across each level of the educational continuum. By providing students with services and resources throughout high school, community college, undergraduate, and graduate school, we ultimately seek for students to be successful in allied and other health profession programs.
WE SUPPORT STUDENTS AT EACH STEP!
The Center for Research on Educational Access and Leadership (C-REAL) evaluates the NOCA HCOP project and conducts research support when necessary.
