Carissa Pearl Moya, Senior (Magnolia, Part 5)

As I transition from high school to college, I found it hard deciding between schools given that I am unable to reach my mentors and advisors as easily in comparison to seeing them every week at school. However, I sought the advice through webinar talks, meetings, workshops, etc. One of many things I appreciated being an intern at Allied Health Academy relied on the fact that I had the opportunity to participate in activities as everyone else and I have gained the guidance of my supervisors in my transition. I remember struggling to look for the resources to contact in regards to my questions about Cal State Long Beach; but, with the help of this program I had the chance to speak to representatives of my top universities. This is simply one of many opportunities I had the chance to partake and it saddens me not being able to say goodbye properly.
