December 7, 2017 | In partnership with the Anaheim Union High School District’s AIME (Anaheim’s Innovative Mentoring Experience) program and Kaiser Permanente, the Allied Health Academy students received a chance to apply for this opportunity. 45 students from the Allied Health Academy at both Western HS and Magnolia HS were selected to attend a series of 4 field trips for the fall 2017 semester.
On our fourth field trip, students were exposed to various health professionals. They listened to a key note speaker and were also mentored by professionals in the field. Kaiser Permanente’s Human Resources team did a final review of the students’ resumes. The HR team also led mock interview sessions with the students. Finally, we closed out the final field trip with an awards ceremony. Four students presented their speeches and shared a reflection about their experience at Kaiser Permanente. Each student received an award of completion in the program. Thank you to everyone for making this experience possible for our students!
