October 11, 2017 | In partnership with the Anaheim Union High School District’s AIME (Anaheim’s Innovative Mentoring Experience) program and Kaiser Permanente, the Allied Health Academy students received a chance to apply for this opportunity. 45 students from the Allied Health Academy at both Western HS and Magnolia HS were selected to attend a series of 4 field trips for the fall 2017 semester.
On our second field trip, students were exposed to various health professionals. They listened to a key note speaker and were also mentored by professionals in the field. Students toured the labor and delivery department, radiology lab, and optical department. Students also got the chance to visit the staff resource fair to play games and win prizes. Thank you to everyone for making this experience possible for our students!
