January 17, 2017 | This week’s workshop encouraged students to identify their purpose and values in relation to careers in the community.
Students engaged in meaningful discussions about their gifts, talents, family, and community. HS students read brief biographical statements about graduate students who shared about their family background, community and career of interest. HS students learned how graduate students connect these concepts to their future careers and learned that they also share many similarities with them as well. HS students wrote letters of inspiration to the graduate students.
